“I don’t want a long lifespan, I want a long health span. There’s a difference. Peptides were the big addition to my supplement routine this year. Peptides have a really big anti-aging community. You may have heard of it from David Sinclair or Andrew Huberman. Some of the benefits I noticed right away are increased recovery, better mood, and more energy.”

VIP (Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide) is a naturally occurring peptide that plays a key role in immune function, inflammation regulation, circulation, and gut health. It has been studied for its potential benefits in supporting cellular repair, neurological function, and overall wellness.

VIP is typically administered as a nasal spray, allowing for efficient absorption and systemic effects.

VIP is generally well tolerated, but some individuals may experience mild nasal irritation, dizziness, flushing, or headaches. These effects are typically temporary and tend to resolve as the body adjusts to the treatment. If side effects persist or worsen, consult your provider for guidance.

Yes, VIP is often integrated with immune support, hormone optimization, and gut health protocols for a comprehensive approach to wellness. However, it’s important to consult your provider to ensure compatibility and avoid potential interactions with other treatments.

At Joi+ Blokes, we take a holistic, preventative approach to care, which means many advanced treatments and lab tests are not typically covered by insurance. However, we do offer insurance-pay options for certain prescriptions:

  • Women’s health medications like estrogen and progesterone can be sent to your local pharmacy, where you may use your insurance benefits.
  • Thyroid medications will be sent to your local pharmacy, allowing you to utilize your insurance coverage.
  • FDA-approved GLP-1/GIP medications for weight loss and type 2 diabetes, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Mounjaro, may also be eligible for coverage.

While we assist with prior authorizations and prescription submissions, we do not bill insurance directly. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.

Yes! You can use your HSA or FSA funds to cover eligible purchases. We are happy to provide a detailed receipt and a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your provider. You can then submit these documents to your HSA/FSA account for potential reimbursement. Since coverage varies by plan, we recommend checking with your provider to confirm eligibility.

Our Joi + Blokes Coaches are here to support you and be a listening ear during your Joi/Blokes experience. Consider them your health journey BFF’s who can help you navigate your results and support you along the way! We know how challenging (and oftentimes isolating) health issues can be, and we want you to know you’re not alone on this path. Our coaches can provide guidance, general information, and most importantly, be your liaison when you need answers from your provider.

Our health coaches’ experience and expertise range from nurses, registered dietitians, personal trainers, naturopathic doctors to navy seals.

Please note: Health Coaches are not doctors and cannot prescribe, provide specific medical advice or diagnose you with any medical conditions.

Joi + Blokes health coaches are here to:

  • Listen to your experience – you are not alone!
  • Help you understand your results
  • Provide information on therapies we offer that may help you meet your goals
  • Be your direct contact for any questions you have during your journey, on your order, or for your provider – they are here to help!

All prescription products require a medical consultation with a licensed provider, either asynchronously or synchronously, who will determine if a prescription is appropriate. If not deemed appropriate, you will be immediately refunded.
