Our clinicians prescribe medications based on individual patient needs. Therapies include but are not limited to NP Thyroid, Armour Thyroid, Levothyroxine, and Cytomel.

Several hormones play a key role in supporting thyroid function and hormone conversion:

– Progesterone – Helps boost thyroid hormone production by supporting the body’s metabolic rate and reducing cortisol, which can interfere with thyroid function.
– Testosterone – Plays a role in T4 to T3 conversion, aiding in the activation of thyroid hormones for better energy and metabolism.
– Cortisol (in balance) – While excess cortisol can suppress thyroid function, healthy cortisol levels are necessary for proper thyroid hormone regulation.
– Estrogen – When balanced, estrogen supports thyroid hormone sensitivity, but excessive estrogen can lead to higher levels of thyroid-binding globulin (TBG), reducing the amount of free, active thyroid hormones.
– DHEA – A precursor hormone that helps regulate cortisol and thyroid function, supporting energy and metabolism.

Optimizing these hormones can enhance thyroid balance, energy levels, and overall metabolic health. If you’re experiencing symptoms of thyroid dysfunction, working with a healthcare provider can help assess and optimize your hormone levels.

Skip your thyroid medication the morning of your blood draw or allow a minimum of 4 hours after consumption.

  • Unexplained Weight Changes – Difficulty losing weight or unexpected weight gain.
  • Brain Fog & Memory Issues – Struggling with focus, forgetfulness, or mental fatigue.
  • Hair Thinning or Loss – Brittle hair, shedding, or slower hair growth.
  • Low Energy & Fatigue – Feeling constantly tired, sluggish, or lacking motivation.
  • Cold Intolerance – Frequently feeling cold, even in warm environments.
  • Mood Changes – Increased anxiety, depression, or irritability.
  • Digestive Issues – Constipation or sluggish digestion.

If you’re experiencing multiple symptoms, testing your thyroid levels can help determine if an imbalance is affecting your health

Your clinician has discretion over how often you need a lab. Thyroid care typically requires labs more often in the beginning. Once your symptoms and protocol are dialed in, you will not need as many labs.

We recommend holding off on supplements the morning of your blood draw unless otherwise instructed. Prescription medications should be taken as directed by your provider.

If you’re on TRT or thyroid medication, it’s best to complete your blood draw right before your next scheduled dose to get the most accurate baseline levels.
