“Testosterone naturally starts decreasing around age 30. While on testosterone replacement therapy, there’s an overall wellness that comes from taking it. Our patients will see improved energy levels, reduced joint pain due to it being a natural inflammatory, and better sleep and mood.”

Clomiphene stimulates the body’s natural testosterone production by acting on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. It functions as a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), blocking estrogen receptors in the hypothalamus. This prevents estrogen from signaling the brain to reduce testosterone production.
By blocking estrogen’s negative feedback, clomiphene triggers the release of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) from the hypothalamus, which then stimulates the pituitary gland to increase luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) production.
Unlike traditional testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), which can suppress natural testosterone and sperm production, clomiphene keeps the body’s hormonal regulation intact while boosting testosterone levels. This makes it a preferred option for men looking to optimize testosterone while preserving fertility.
Most individuals begin noticing improvements in energy, mood, and libido within a few weeks. Full benefits, including muscle strength and metabolism changes, typically develop over 6 weeks.
Most people tolerate clomiphene well, but some may experience mild side effects like headaches, mood changes, or temporary vision disturbances. Your provider will monitor your response and adjust your treatment if needed.
