“From purchasing what I needed to meeting with the medical coordinator, the process was an excellent experience. The medical staff is highly knowledgeable and went through all my blood work to advise where I can be optimal vs. within range. I am very grateful to have found this company.”

Have questions? We're here to help

Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, a medication that mimics the natural GLP-1 hormone produced in the small intestine. This hormone plays a crucial role in blood sugar regulation by stimulating insulin release and lowering glucagon levels, helping the body maintain stable glucose control.

Beyond improving glycemic balance, semaglutide also reduces appetite, curbs food cravings, and supports better control over eating. These effects make it an effective tool not only for diabetes management but also for weight loss and overall metabolic health.

Tirzepatide is a medication that works on two natural hormones in the body, GIP and GLP-1, which help control blood sugar and appetite. By improving how your body releases insulin and reducing hunger, tirzepatide can lower blood sugar levels, reduce food cravings, and support weight loss. It’s used to treat type 2 diabetes and has also shown benefits for people looking to improve weight and overall metabolic health.

Most patients begin noticing benefits within the first few weeks, though some may take longer to see significant changes. Consistency is key, and results can vary based on individual factors. Semaglutide & Tirzepatide is most effective when combined with healthy lifestyle changes, including diet and exercise. Your dedicated health coach will provide guidance and support to help you stay on track throughout your journey.

Semaglutide & Tirzepatide is a subcutaneous injection, meaning it is administered into the fatty tissue just beneath the skin. Common injection sites include the abdomen, upper arms, and front of the thighs.

We provide insulin-sized needles, making the injection process easy and virtually painless.

The most common side effects of Semaglutide & Tirzepatide are mild and often improve over time as your body adjusts. These may include:

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Constipation
• Bloating or gas
• Decreased appetite
• Fatigue

To minimize side effects, it’s important to start with a lower dose and gradually increase as tolerated. Staying hydrated and eating smaller, protein-rich meals can also help. If side effects persist or worsen, your healthcare provider can help adjust your treatment plan.

GLP-1s help support sustainable weight loss by promoting healthier lifestyle habits. If you maintain the positive changes in diet, exercise, and overall wellness that contributed to your weight loss, it’s possible to keep the weight off after stopping the medication. However, reverting to poor eating habits and a sedentary lifestyle may lead to weight regain. Your health coach can provide guidance to help you maintain long-term success.

At Joi+ Blokes, we take a holistic, preventative approach to care, which means many advanced treatments and lab tests are not typically covered by insurance. However, we do offer insurance-pay options for certain prescriptions:

• Women’s health medications like estrogen and progesterone can be sent to your local pharmacy, where you may use your insurance benefits.
• Thyroid medications will be sent to your local pharmacy, allowing you to utilize your insurance coverage.
• FDA-approved GLP-1/GIP medications for weight loss and type 2 diabetes, including Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, and Mounjaro, may also be eligible for coverage.

While we assist with prior authorizations and prescription submissions, we do not bill insurance directly. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.

Our Joi + Blokes Coaches are here to support you and be a listening ear during your Joi/Blokes experience. Our health coaches’ experience and expertise range from nurses, registered dietitians, personal trainers, naturopathic doctors to navy seals.

Please note: Health Coaches are not doctors and cannot prescribe, provide specific medical advice or diagnose you with any medical conditions.

• Listen to your experience – you are not alone!
• Help you understand your results
• Provide information on therapies we offer that may help you meet your goals
• Be your direct contact for any questions you have during your journey, on your order, or for your provider – they are here to help!

All prescription products require a medical consultation with a licensed provider, either asynchronously or synchronously, who will determine if a prescription is appropriate. If not deemed appropriate, you will be immediately refunded.
